The male is the High School quarterback. She is a nerd. Pretty.. But a genius. She is shunned because of it.

Raymond walked down the main hallway of the school. He had a certain kind of strut when he walked, that can only be achieved when feeling overly confident, despite only being a junior in the high school system. There was practically no reason for Ray not to feel confident. He was the jock of the school; playing football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and whatever he could get his hands on. He wasn’t half bad looking either. Curly brown hair with blue eyes accented his chiseled muscular features as he measured up to six foot two. Girls practically flung themselves at him or tried to, at least. He was like an Arnold Schwarzenegger Ken doll, except for a couple of faults; a slight amount of acne running up his chin, blood-shot eyes (probably from drinking, again), and a black-eye (probably for beating someone up, again). It was common knowledge that he cheated in school…but could you ever blame him? With his charisma and sports skills he got whatever he wanted. He was a pretty boy with a really short temper, ready to go off the deep end at any given moment.

Ashlind walked down the hall, invisible to everyone in the hall. But it was nothing new. It wasn't as though she was ugly. Everyone would agree she wasn't ugly. With her long her curly, jet black hair, she was far from it. No. She was what they all considered to be worst. She was a nerd. She got the A+ without even trying. To top it off, Ash was shy. She didn't talk unless it was to rattle of some scientific answer. This, caused her to have no friends. Even those that were just like her did not talk to her. she was the lowest of the low. Raymond walked down the hall.. she quickly moved aside. As cute as she thought he was.. She moved. One he had a HORRIBLE temper and.. TWO.. He didn't even know she, Ash, existed. Ray smirked as he shoved a couple of kids in front of him, and slammed them into the wall.
He walked up to the head cheeleader and put his arms around her, planting a kiss on her cheek. He detested the girl and her perky attitude, but he loved the order of the school hierarchy and the order it presented.

Ashlind grimanced as a few kids hit the wall. I have to get this over with. she thought. He needs me to stay on the team. Taking a deep breath, Ash walked up to Ray. "Ray?" she said quietly. "I am Ash. Mr. Williams sent mt for you know." Your grades. I am here to help you stay on the football team. she thought. It is just a favor for the teacher.

Ray let his girlfriend go and he stared at Ash. "Oh...so you're like one of those smart kids sent by the teachers...interesting." he said with a slight frown.

He shrugged. "Any day is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with football." he told her quickly. He definitely was going to miss practice...if he did chaos would break out.

He nodded, "Sure, I guess that works..." he said with an unwilling attitude. He hated having someone in his face telling him that he had to be tutored in school for football. He liked the cheating method, and it had been working fine for him so far.
